International Prisoner​​s Relief Organisation (IPRO)

is a worldwide non-denominational non-political, non-profit, and non-governmental organization of Prisoners by the prisoners and for the prisoners.  

About Us

Though IPRO in its present form as founded by prisoners of Nairobi Remand and allocation prison between year 2001 and 2003, the idea of its formulation was rooted in the form of a vision much earlier by Arch Bishop Dr. Alexander Mwingira DD

Vision

Break the cycle of crime and restore lives through Zero Crime Campaign.

Create awareness in all world communities to the effect that societies stand a better chance of eliminating sin and crime by demonstrating practical love to sinners and by inculcating in them self-pride supporting and self-image, opposed us to the positive present, by way of providing them with criminals moral, financial support to material and make them self-methods of penal correction, reform punitive and rehabilitation.

Transform the lives of ex-prisoners and the affected families through a global network.

The mission of IPRO is to promote and protect the human constitutional rights of prisoners. and to improve conditions and standards of life in prisons by way of providing them and their families with oral, material, and financial necessities during prison time of the prisoners, and by providing bridging assistance of whatever nature to the prisoner upon his release to make the ex- a self-supporting individual who has appropriately human dignity, self-respect, and positive self-image.

We are sensitive about how to take care of the environment with the main agenda of tree planting.
